Rosie from Rochester, NY

Joining us today on my Corgi blog is Rosie, a 2 year old red and white Pembroke Welsh Corgi from Rochester, NY.

Two years ago, Seana and her boyfriend at the time, now fiance, were ready to get their first puppy, and had been looking at Corgis for a while. They love Corgi puppies and the fact that Corgis are pretty much big dogs in a small package. So in October 2012 they brought a little Corgi puppy in their home and named her Rosie after Rosalind Franklin, the x-ray crystallographer credited with helping determine the structure of DNA.

They immediately fell in love with Rosie’s happy go lucky, albeit sometimes stubborn, attitude. Rosie loves lounging at home with her human parents as much as going to the dog park, going on hikes in the summer, playing in the snow in winter, and especially her weekly visits to Camp Bow Wow. Rosie is currently in training to take the CGC exam and potentially become a therapy dog.
