Phoebe, a Corgi Puppy from Wisconsin
Carol and Doug H. from Wisconsin have always preferred big dogs, but after the loss of their beloved Lab, they decided that getting a smaller dog would be a good change for them. After meeting several Corgis during the summer of 2011, Doug and Carol fell in love with the breed and loved how friendly and outgoing Corgis are.
They also did more research on Corgis and were happy to find out that they have that “big dog” attitude, but come in smaller packages. And so, Carol and Doug decided to get a Corgi puppy. They found a breeder who had a new litter of puppies, and after choosing their puppy (a gorgeous girl, who they named Phoebe), they visited her regularly and took lots of photos and videos of her.
At the time Carol wrote me, baby Phoebe was still too young to leave her mother’s side, and Carol and her family were waiting patiently until they could bring home their new bundle of joy. But time passes quickly, and by my calculations, Phoebe should now be home with her new family. I will definitely contact Carol and ask for some updates on life with Phoebe, but until then, enjoy the pictures and the video she sent!
Thank you, Carol & Family for sharing Phoebe with us!

Phoebe is home now! She just turned 10 weeks old yesterday and is turning into such a loving and wonderful little girl! She loves playing in the snow and chewing on just about anything! I will have my mom send you updated pictures!
That’s great! Enjoy her puppy days, time flies by so quickly when they’re little!
Our Toby used to love chewing on the dining table’s legs, but thank God, he got over that phase, and we didn’t even had to use bitter spray to make him stop chewing.
Hi Phoebe, we live in Wisconsin to in West Bend, always looking for Corgi Friends!!!
Hi I am in Wisconsin too. I grew up in West Bend, but live a few minutes away in Kewaskum. Was curious as to where you got your Corgi’s from. My husband and I love Corgi’s we lost our Jack Russell in 2004 and haven’t added another dog to the family due to having children. Our kids are 6 and 8 now and would love to hopefully add a Corgi to our family.
